Bako Wales was set up in 1962 and are proud to have been supplying the food and bakery industry throughout Wales and the border regions for 62 years.
We’re a true independent co-operative. When you become a Bako Wales customer, you also become a member of our cooperative and are entitled to a share of the cake...pun intended! Each year, we distribute a share of the profits to our members, based on how much business they do with us.
With over 1500 products currently available, we aim to provide a wide range of ingredients, finished products and supplies which our customers want. We are continually improving our range and offering new and exciting products so if you can’t find what you’re looking for in the Our Products pages then please ask us and we’ll see what we can do.
Every one of our excellent team of staff is here to help. You can get in touch with us by calling 01792 890500 or by emailing customerservices@bakowales.co.uk. If it’s helpful we can even visit you at your business premises.
Headquartered in Swansea, we cover all of Wales from Holyhead and Llandudno up north to St Davids and Chepstow in the south. We also cover neighbouring parts of England including; Chester, Chesire, Telford, Shrewsbury, Leominster, Hereford, and Shropshire.
We’re continually developing ourselves as a business, monitoring our own performance, operational efficiency and service delivery. By investing in our people and systems we aim to deliver excellence at the lowest cost, so we can pass on our savings to you: through our pricing and through the dividends we pay our customer members.
To enusre that we provide the best service possible, our products will be supplied to all national or international standards that may be required. Bako Wales are proud that this includes BRCGS certification in food safety, storage and distribution.
