To our Bako Wales Customers
Following a review by our Board of Directors, the decision has been taken to introduce some new criteria for orders, and I wanted to make you aware of these directly.
- From 01 July 2022, the minimum order level will rise to £300. This will apply to all orders whether they are delivered or collected from us.
- Our timescale for ordering items to be collected is also changing and from 01 July we will require 24 hours’ notice prior to collection.
These decisions have been made in the interest of securing the future of Bako Wales to ensure it continues as a successful co-operative that is able to develop and grow its services to meet the needs of our customer members and provide you with a return.
For many of our customers we know this new order level will have no impact, but we are also aware that some will find it challenging based on current buying patterns. At Bako Wales, we offer a broad range of products to support our customer members across a wide range of sectors. Our ranges include ambient, chilled and frozen ingredients, fully baked and part-baked finished products, and a range of ancillary products for preparing, serving and packaging goods for customers. By browsing our range or chatting to our sales and customer services teams about the products you use, or reviewing your order frequency, I hope that it will be possible for you to meet the new minimum order level so that we can continue to supply you.
Should you be unable to meet our new order criteria and continue as one of our customer members, then I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your custom and for being part of our co-operative.
